Welcome to Wildfolk and Whimsy

We’re so glad you’re here. Everything we make is handcrafted in small batches, designed to bring a little comfort, beauty, and nourishment into your everyday. Below you’ll find the essentials on how we run things—simple, clear, and rooted in care.

In May of 2025, The Lovely Muse Apothecary rebranded into WIldfolk & Whimsy, still owned and crafted by Artist & Aromatherapist, Aurelia Corvinus.

Wholesale

We are currently accepting a small number of wholesale and/or consignment accounts. If you’re a stockist looking for something slow-made and soulful, reach out—we’d love to hear from you.

Order Processing

All items are made by hand, to order. Please allow 3–5 business days for processing unless otherwise stated.


Spray perfumes may take a bit longer to allow for proper maceration (aging). You will get an email if this is the case and we account for transit times too.

During holidays or high-volume times, processing may be slightly delayed—we’ll always keep you updated.

Shipping (U.S. Only)

We ship within the United States via USPS Ground Advantage or USPS Priority Flat Rate.

  • Free shipping on orders over $100
  • Tracking info will be sent when your order ships
  • Priority Shipping is required during summer (June-Sept) so our included icepacks arrive without melting.
  • We now offer overnight rush order creation with priority mail shipping.

We no longer offer international shipping. 

We are not responsible for delays, lost/stolen packages, or and other issues. If something goes wrong, just reach out—we’re happy to help if we can.

Returns & Refunds

Because of the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges. Here’s why:

  • Everything online is made to order, just for you.
  • We create personal care goods—perfume, oil, soap, skincare—which can’t legally be returned per FDA guidelines.
  • And honestly, we just think it’s kinda gross to resell items other people have had and/or used. 

If you’re unsure about a scent or formula, we strongly recommend starting with a sample size. I offer sample "Itty bitty" sizes of everything. If you're not sure TRY IT FIRST. 

That said, if there’s an issue, get in touch—we’re always happy to work with you when possible.

Damaged Orders

If your item arrives damaged, please email us within 7 days of delivery. Include photos of the packaging and product so we can file a claim with the post office for our cost; but we’ll make it right.

Order Changes & Cancellations

You can change or cancel your order within 24 hours. After that, we’ve likely begun making your order and can’t make adjustments.

Please double-check your shipping address—we’re not responsible for errors submitted at checkout. 

Custom Orders

Custom fragrance orders are non-refundable and require a paid consultation to begin. Each custom order includes two deluxe sample rounds before the final version is created. 

Allergies & Safety

Our products are carefully crafted with a blend of natural ingredients and exceptionally high-quality, man-made fragrance components. However, skin sensitivities and allergies can still occur—especially with formulas that include essential oils. We strongly recommend performing a patch test prior to full use, even if you’ve used similar products in the past.

If irritation or any unexpected reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately.

By purchasing, you agree to use our products responsibly and acknowledge that Wildfolk & Whimsy and/or Aurelia Corvinus Johnson cannot be held liable for any allergic reactions, sensitivities, or damages of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to, scenarios such as melted solid perfume left in a hot car, hair oil staining fabric, or other product misuse. Always read the full list of ingredients carefully before use.

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. If you have known allergies or health concerns, please consult your healthcare provider before purchasing or using our offerings.
