Long before sprays and spritzes, solid perfumes were the scent of choice—from the temples of Ancient Egypt to the baths of Rome. At Wildfolk & Whimsy, we’ve brought this timeless tradition back to life in a handcrafted solid perfume, tucked inside a vintage-inspired brass compact. It’s the 1920s meets the 2020s—equal parts charm, nostalgia, and wearable whimsy.

While our solid perfumes remain the heart of the collection, Wildfolk & Whimsy has grown up a bit—our scents are now also available as rich perfume extrait sprays, nourishing perfume oils, and itty bitty “try me” sizes for those who like to test before they commit. No matter how you wear them, each fragrance is crafted with care, imagination, and a touch of old-world magic.

📖 Fragrance Story:

Mountain Violet is the scent of quiet walks and wild blossoms—of spring mornings in high places, where the air is clean and violets peek shyly from the shade. It’s delicate but not dainty—rooted in freshness, kissed with light, and meant to bring a moment of peace wherever it’s worn.

Mountain Violet begins with the refreshing sparkle of bergamot, lemon, and cucumber water—cool, bright, and clean. At its heart, the rare pairing of African violet and common violet bloom with subtle grace, never overpowering, always inviting. This is a floral for the violet-lovers and the fresh-air seekers.

Blended at an ultra-potent 35% fragrance concentration in a base of perfumer’s alcohol (SD-40), offering a long-lasting scent with beautiful diffusion.

🌼 10ml & 3ml Eau De Parfum Spray
Blended at a 25% fragrance concentration in a base of perfumer’s alcohol (SD-40), offering a standard spray perfume experience.

🌾 Perfume Oil in 17ml Glass Rod Applicator Bottle and 3ml Roller Bottle
A smooth, lightweight base of organic fractionated MCT Coconut Oil, infused with concentrated fragrance—ideal for a soft, intimate scent experience on the skin.

✨ Perfumed Hair & Body Oil (2oz Glass Bottle)

A lightweight, nourishing blend of jojoba, grapeseed, and olive oils, infused with Mountain Violet’s signature scent. Adds softness and fragrance to skin and hair without feeling greasy.

Wildfolk & Whimsy perfumes are lovingly blended by hand using essential oils, premium luxury fragrance oil, and professional perfumer’s notes—selected for their depth, safety, and storytelling in scent.

📦 Creation & Shipping

Each perfume is hand-blended and poured with care in our North Carolina studio. Please allow 3–5 business days for your order to be crafted before shipping. If you're on a tight timeline, just reach out—we’re happy to accommodate when we can!
